TCS Solenoid Wiring - 1970 442

Hi Guys!

Trying to figure out the TCS wiring for my 1970 442. Appears that it comes off the engine harness, but others have indicated the TCS is an extension that plugs into the engine harness. Some part of that harness may be missing on my car, but cannot seem to make sense of it from the assembly manual and the service manual. Any guidance greatly appreciated!

On a 1970 model it is PART OF the harness....not a plug in extension.

To be clear, part of the engine harness? Kindly advise. Thanks so much, Patton.

Yes, the TCS wiring is built into every 1970 engine harness. The pigtail that goes to the trans is built into that harness, and is the same two wires (TH400 kickdown and TCS switch wire) no matter which trans the car came with. This is shown in the wiring diagram in the Chassis Service Manual

Appears someone may have cut off that pigtail portion of this harness. Time for a new engine harness, anyway. Thanks so much, Joe!
