Stereo soeakers

So I am trying to set up my budget for my 66 build and sound came up. On my convertible pics (pick car up Friday) I only see a spot for door speakers. Are there any other speaker mounts or am I making holes for rear speakers?

If there are door speakers visible, someone cut holes and installed them. The factory had a dash speaker and (at least on the later cars) one rear speaker mounted to the rear seat back. As you can imagine, you don't get much sound from that rear speaker location.

On my car, I installed aftermarket front kick panels with speakers in them and rear 6x9 boxes that either lay on the floorboards or on the rear seat.

I'm also planning on adding the kick panel speakers. What did you do with the vent cables? I don't have the necessary bosses molded into mine for the vent cable exits.

I also started a thread asking for ideas.

My car has AC, so no vents in the kick panels. I posted in your other thread that there is a newer design of the non-AC kick panel speakers that has the know built into it.
