I am hoping someone can help me on this. I am working on my sons 64 C10, the turn signal cancel doesn’t work. This truck came with a inline six with column shift. It now has a SBC/ TH350. The column has been replaced with a tilt column from something.
the cancel cam is missing and i can’t find any info or pics on what it needs. I attached a photo of the mechanism in the column. My hopes are that Joe is sitting in his Bat Cave right now and has a complete exploded view with part numbers.
😆
That is an early to mid 60's tilt column. Post some more pics of the rest of the column (under the hood, where the column meets the dash, etc). The B body columns are not worth a lot, but a 64-66 A-body tilt column is worth good money. GM used 2 methods to cancel the turn signals. On BOP cars, a bent roll pin was added to the back of the steering wheel. Chevelles used a plastic cancel cam that was attached to the back of the steering wheel.
Here is a reproduction Chevelle cancel cam: https://www.opgi.com/lamps-lenses/la...IaAiX0EALw_wcB
I don't know if anyone makes a reproduction of the offset roll pin, but you could probably make one. Here is a shot of an original:

That might be it, the only problem is that I am using an aftermarket steering wheel. I’m not sure how it would attach to the steering wheel adapter. There are some small threaded holes on the back side of the adapter so that might be how it attaches.
