They both stopped working at the same time, but before they broke the used to squeak a lot while I drove. does anyone know what the problem is and also does anyone know how to fix it because I want to give a shot at it. and also my vehicle is a 1984 cutlass supreme if that helps any. Thanks.

 

sounds like the speedo cable snapped to me.

 

Yeah speedo cable.

It's a cable that goes from the dash to the tranny. It's not electrical at all
