Searching for the Correct Electrical Tape
I have my wiring harness spread out on the garage floor wanting to re-tape the multiple wire groups. I purchased Factory OEM Wiring Tape( non-adhesive) and Cloth Wiring Tape from Inline Tube. As I'm peeling back the old tape I'm finding cloth tape with a smooth top surface. Do I need to wrap the wires first with the cloth tape then apply the OEM tape? Or, is there an all-in-one tape with cloth on one side and smooth top? Hope this makes sense.
