Rear Speaker

I want to add a rear speaker to my '72 CS convertible restoration. (It was not born with one...) Does anyone have a factory rear speaker setup, and can tell me was it just the one wire routed back to the right side? And was it in it's own wire loom, (not in the rear wiring (flat) group? I'm only guessing that it should be one blue wire, leaving the chassis to act as the speaker ground.
TIA

Correct on all points, as far as I know.

The speaker mounts behind the rear seat back on the passenger side. When the top is down, you can't hear the rear speaker so an AM-FM stereo doesn't work that well. I have a rear speaker in both my '68 4-4-2 and '69 4-4-2. The '68 4-4-2 has an AM-FM mono factory radio so when the top is down it makes no difference as the same sound comes out of both front and rear speakers. My '69 came with an AM-FM stereo factory radio and, with stereo, one side of the sound gets wiped out. The rear speaker wire (single blue) was routed on the passenger side of the hump to the passenger side of the rear seat where it went under a separate piece that was attached to the floorboard under under the seat, and then afterwards up to the rear speaker. The rear speaker is grounded to where it is attached behind the rear seat back.
