Need Help with Temperature Sending Unit

I'm looking for help on which temperature sending unit that will work with my set up. I am putting in the rally gauges in my 75 Cutlass with the 455ci engine. I know I have to change the unit but I can't seem to find one that will just plug into my existing connection. I'm looking for one that would attach to the blade style connector.

Fusick has this one but I'm not sure if this one will work...
www.fusickautomotiveproducts.com/prodinfo.asp?number=G1852S
There are other style sending units but they have the T-stud type that I am not sure how I would connect to.

Any help would be appreciated!

Rockauto lists a few different brands for use with gauges.

I already looked at rockauto and the ones they list with gauge are the T-stud type connection. How do you hook up the wire to that type?

Photo of T-stud type I'm talking about...

Well, it would make sense for the idiot light and gauge to have different wiring connectors so they aren’t inadvertently switched. So change the connector on the wire to match the sending unit.

I think I just figured it out doing a little more google searching. I found a sending unit with the blade style connector that will work with the rally gauges at Lectric Limited...

Thanks guys!

One more question... I purchased the temperature sending unit thru Lectric Limited and they say..."Unless necessary to prevent leaking, we recommend that you do not use teflon-tape, pipe compound, or any other sealant when installing this sending unit. Simply screw it in. Adding anything onto the sending unit's threads may result in improper operation." Should I gamble and go without using anything or do you think I should go ahead and put a little tape on the threads? I would hate to go without anything only to have it leak and have to do it over again. Thoughts???

I've used teflon tape on senders for half a century with no issues. Just don't go crazy, but with one turn of the tape, the threads will cut through and make electrical contact. If you really lose sleep over this, use teflon paste instead.
