Need help with installing a mini starter

I bought a Powermaster 9510 XS mini starter, for my 1970 Oldsmobile 442 with a 455 engine. The powermaster has 2 terminals. My stock starter has 3, positive post, run wire, and ignition wire. I was told that the powermaster should bolt right up, and work as the original does. So, the problem. I have 3 wires, and 3 terminals on the stock starter, and only 2 terminals on the new starter. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

It depends on what distributor you’re using. If it is not points and you have full battery voltage running to the coil, simply cap the yellow wire going to the coil+ terminal from the solenoid R terminal.

Thank you all for your replies, I now know that I need a diode on the run connection. Again, thank you so much!
