Musings on 67 A body Dash options

I am mulling over some dash options, all three of which I own, in various conditions, for my 67 project. The U21 Rocket Rally Pac runs on a celluloid backing printed circuit, and occupies the right pod. The U15 Safety Sentinel runs on the older masonite circuit board, and has the buzzer mounted to the back. One could, theoretically, mount the rally pac conventionally, and hang the safety sentinel normally, but mount and power the relay elsewhere.

However, looking at the specs, even though it is possible to have both Safety Sentinel and Cruise Control, one wonders why? I do like cruise control and one would think that, in an area of intense speed monitoring, the cruise would do better than a "do not exceed warning." The cruise needs power brakes and an automatic transmission per the specs, and, while I have that, I can't imagine why one could not rig a kill it switch on the clutch like modern cruises. Point being, Olds probably did build a car with both cruise and safety sentinel that year, redundant as it seems.

I will probably do rally pac and cruise and sell the sentinel.
