Looking for a '75 Delta 88 Royale power antenna
Looking replace the power antenna on my '75 Delta 88 Royal Convertible. It's all gummed up and gets stuck less than halfway. I've tried cleaning the black gook off of the sections but there must be a ton of it in there. I think the time has come to replace it.
Where can I find a one? Do I have to settle for a generic one or do they make a GM replacement one?
Any help is much appreciated.

Went through the same thing with my 1965 88 years ago. I used 2+2 gum cutter and cleaned all sections of the mast. Used air compressor to get it dry and let the mast sit for a few days. Then I waxed each section with a paste wax and it lasted for a few years until I sold the car.
For low buck option, buy a generic one and store the original.

Thanks, radioburningchrome. Does nobody make a replacement? I figured tons of GM cars used this antenna for years and years... and that there must be an aftermarket one out there.
Found a company that would rebuild it for $250, and got a top from someone on another board about a guy who'd do the same for $250, but that's as far as I've gotten.
I'll try cleaning the crap out of it again and waxing it.
