Newbie with a 72 Delta 88 Royale convert. Got all the bulbs replaced and some new lenses, all work now but only with the light switch turned all the way, they do not come on when door is opened regardless of light switch position I think they should,? door pin switch's seem to work because buzzer works when key is in and door open, what am I missing?
Also is the blower motor supposed to run all the time with key on? installed a new one along with new resistor due to varmint damage to blower wheel, even with fan on low and heat set to off, the blower has all speeds as its suppose to now. any help please.

 

Spray a little WD40 or electrical contact cleaner in the pin switches and work them a few times. Past that you may have to disconnect battery and screw the pin switch out of the door jamb to clean them. I was lucky enough the ones on my 73 ragtop always responded to the contact cleaner.

Not 100% sure on 72 blower. I know 71 worked as yours does and 73 did not.

 

Pin switches needed cleaning, pass side sticking some, all good now, falsely assumed they were ok with key buzzer working!
