Interior Dome Light

Well I did it. In the process of checking why my dome light does not turn when I open the driver's side front door on my 1968 Cutlass the electrical connection in the door switch disengaged from the switch connection and dropped into the front fender. I am sure this is not the first time this has happened to other folks. Any recommendations on how I go about retrieving this electrical wire connection from the fender?

It's not in the fender, but will be behind the dash up above the kick panel. Still hard to reach, but get a good flashlight and mirror and I think you'll be able to spot it. John
