inline fuse blower motor

inline fuse blower motor

OK the blower motor doesnt work on high so I think the inline fuse is blown -cant get the thing apart though - do I twist, just pull or what? Rubber solvent??

Push the two halves together, twist about ¼-turn counterclockwise, and pull away.

What Eric said. Usually the metal ends of the fuse rust/corrode & you'll end up breaking the glass between the two if/when you do get it apart. You will have to dig the ends out & clean & install a new fuse then. That special length fuse is not easy to find either if I remember right.

Hope it comes apart easily. Before tearing anything up though, use a voltmeter to see if you have power up to the fuse but not after. If not concerned about originality, you can replace the old fuse holder with a modern blade type from any parts store.
