looks like a 1970 AM/FM radio with the amp - I'll have to check but the blue and yellow wires are speaker wires I think. Maybe the 67 deltas had the same radio but wait until someone responds with a definite answer before you mess with the wires. I'll see if I can dig up my paperwork on how to hook it up CIAO

Yellow is hot! It's the power wire. Make sure it is connected to a fuse. Blue is the speaker wire. - Negative is ground. Do not run the radio without the speakers attached. The one blue wire from the radio goes to the front speaker.
The smaller unit is your multi-plexer. The blue wire from the multi-plexer goes to the rear speaker. These cars in 1967 had only two speakers. Stereo was achieved between the front and back speaker. There was no left & right stereo.
Make sure that... your radio, multi-plexer and speakers have a good ground.
Also, make sure that the base of your antenna is grounded to the fender or radio. Do not run the radio without the antenna hooked up.
This service manual helps a lot!

OK: I was playing it safe. You could turn the radio on without the antenna.
From the 1967 Chassis Service Manual... 15-4 Trimmer Adjustment,
3. If the car is equipped with a rear seat speaker, insert a shunt wire as shown in Fig. 15-7 or Fig. 15-8. NOTE: Do not turn on radio unless shunt wire is installed.

It's still in, perhaps I should disconnect the power to prevent the possibility of damage.

Hmmmm... Don't know about that... can't say for sure.
The instructions posted above are basically for trimming the antenna. Do you have a stereo multi-plexer? If it's plugged into the radio, you should have stereo sound. The speakers are 8 - 10 Ohms

I got mine on eBay. There is one for sale right now. $49.99
http://cgi.ebay.ca/1967-DELCO-RADIO-...item53df89303d
I think I paid $20.00 for mine from some place in Saskatchewan, Canada.
I got a 67 Owners manual, 67 shop manual, and 67 sales brochure from these people... Good service! Kind of pricey.
They are located in Godrich, Ontario. Ask them to keep an eye out for a 1967 Radio Maunal. Say, 'Hi' to Nicola for me!
