Horn Compatibility

My dual horns on my '73 tested bad. Are the hi/lo horns available from the 67/68 Camaro or Corvette compatible? Will they sound the same? Even if they don't sound the same if they are functional seems to be a good option. Thoughts?

There is a code cast into the horns that might help you know If they will sound the same. What I've noticed as the biggest difference is the mounting brackets. That may be a problem to overcome if your going to use horns from a different vehicle. John

All GM horns simply take a single power wire and ground through the bracket. Any one of them is "compatible" if all you care about is a horn that works. The brackets may or may not be exactly the same, however.
