Heater blower problem!
Fast question! must every vacum line be connected for the blower(fan) to work? I have removed the ac long time ago and after that one speed on fan only worked but now nothing work If i take power from battery the fan works, thanks!

Fast answer no,vacumn is for the inside controls not the blower motor, the blower motor is electrical. If only one speed only worked prior to none i'd be guessing it was high speed and is powered thru the relay, the lower speeds go thru the resistor.

Yes, they may be, or either or both of the fuses (one in the fuse block, one in the heavy wire to the relay) may be bad, or you may have one or more bad connections or cut wires.
The best thing to do is to follow the wiring diagram in the Air Conditioning section of the Chassis Service Manual and see if everything is connected.

One wire to the relay is purple and goes to the motor
One is heavy and goes to the horn relay junction block, as you noted.
One brings power from the resistor block.
One is power from the High speed terminal of the fan switch.
If the fan switch is on High (Step 4), the relay pulls in and connects the junction block wire to the fan wire.
If the fan switch is on Steps 1, 2, or 3, the relay is off, and carries power from the resistor block to the fan motor.

If your Delta is a Comfortron car, most of those have the blower wired thru a combination of master vacuum switch and coolant temperature switch.
If your A/C has pushbuttons and a blower switch, it's reguular air conditiong. If it has a lever with OFF AUTO-HI-LO DE-ICE and a temperature dial, it's Comfortron.

Well, how about that. The 1968 manual has no wiring schematic for A/C.
Look at the one from 1969.
I believe both years had the confusing "Hold-In Relay" system.
Page 1B-35.
Sorry about that.
