Headlights and buckets 72

I presume I'm looking up the correct numbers when I see I need a 5001 high beam on the inside and a 5006 high/low beam on the outside for both sides.

Also, my right headlight bucket seems to be flipped because it is not parallel with the design lines of the car, but off by some 30 deg to the rear as you move inwards on the front clip.

Do I have to repair mangling, for those that have done it, or is it an unbolt, flip, rebolt thing?

I'll do it when I put these old Guides into a museum and get some Halogens up there since I'd have to re-aim anyway.

I picked up some aftermarket lights at "octanelighting.com". Just plug and play except for the halo's which I wired onto a toggle switch. I did not have to do any mods to the buckets and there are different types available just in case your interested. Good Luck on the change out. What they look like on our Classics.

That sounds right. The halogen lights will have an H in front of the numbers.
