Fuse box or not, 1950 Olds

Can anyone tell me if my newly acquired 1950 Rocket 88 convertible has a fuse box and if so where it is located. Also, the rear lights (as in the photo) have a two element bulb. The turn signals work OK and so does the brake lights but I have no side lights? Until I ship over a shop manual and wiring diagram (I’m in the UK) I’m can’t drive after dusk.
BTW the top lamp - reversing light works fine.

Any help much appreciated!

The brake lamp and the turn signal use the same filament. It is the brighter of the two filaments.

The other (dimmer) filament is for the taillight/nighttime rear driving lamp.

Sorry, I don't know about the fuse box

There were no side lights on 1950 cars. They weren't required on cars sold in the U.S. until the 1968 model year. If you have to have them in order to drive the car at night, you'll need to add something aftermarket.

You would think that a car would be grandfathered based on OE provisions when a car was manufactured.

Not in some places in Europe. Old cars have to be brought up to code.
