Electric Panel Clock with Glovebox Light
I have a lightly used Electric Panel Clock with Glovebox Light, part number 982223 in the original old style "Oldsmobile GM Approved Parts and Accessories" box. It appears to have all the parts. It does not indicate the year on the box nor is it stamped on the back of the clock or anywhere else. Can anybody help me identify the vintage of this old part? Thanks

Pictures of Olds Electric Panel Clock
Here are the pictures. It was definitely used and shows some wear as I look at the close ups. I am going to hook it up to a 12 V power source and see if it still works. I don't myself have an Olds, but I thought it might be of interest to somebody on the forum doing a restoration. Any help identifying what model year this is from would be great. I have heard guesses anywhere from '38 to '58. I have no clue

Electric Clock
WOAH do not connect to 12volts direct .Try a 9 volt transistor battery first ,as you dont know if this was a 6 or 12 volt unit the amperage in the 9 volt wont burn anything out & still let you test Larry
