Dash speakers
#2
My Custom Cruiser has 3-1/2". Not the greatest for sound and they've gotten a bit hard to find, which I think is ridiculous as many cars as used them over the years. Check the Crutchfield catalog and see what they still stock in that size. www.crutchfield.com and they're in Charlottesville.
If you're not after keeping everything totally factory, the advantage to these cars is you can mount better quality speakers in the door armrest assemblies, say a 4" or maybe up to a 6-1/2" woofer, and then mount directional tweeters either on the dash or on the top of the door panel.
