dash electrical

I believe there is a notch on the middle post and it can only go one way. Duane

That is correct it can only plug in one way. There is one pin spot with no pin on the printed circuit and one spot in the plug in with no connector. Also there is a outward notch in the center plastic guide pin of the plug in that only fits into the printed circuit one way. I will attach a couple of pictures to help.

I also recommend as you are doing this to use a few of those little star type washers that bit into both sides when installing the dash assembly into the car. The grounds for the dash relys on the contact between the dash and the metal dash frame of the car. These just give you an added assurance of a good ground. I also put some dielectric grease on the pins. These are delicate so be easy on them.

Hope this helps
Larry
