brake lights

brake lights

the brake lights on my '91 eighty-eight stay on after i turn off the lights and turn off the engine. anyone have an idea? Is this an electrical problem or a brake problem of some kind.

Hi. It sounds like an electrical problem. Your brake light switch may have moved to the point your pedal isn't turning it off. Try pulling back on your brake pedal and see if it shuts off. ( I am assuming your switch is at the pedal.) Could be a simple adjustment, or a fauly switch. Good luck, and let us know. Jim.

thank you. did the trick. the gizmo popped out of the diddlybob. pulled back break pedal while pushing it in and worked like a charm.
