BAT/IGN/ACC Slide terminals on 68 Cutlass fuse panel

I was wondering how do you add a slide terminal to the IGN portion of the fuse box on a 68 Cutlass? My fuse box just has slide terminals for BAT and ACC. I have seen photos from a 72 that has all the spade terminals including IGN. If there a way I can put one in or did is it supposed there and snapped off? If I can add one, what would be the correct style?

I found this photo from another forum for a 72...Not my picture but shows what I am talking about

My 69 had the same basic fuse box as what you have posted. Any 1/4 female quick disconnect terminals will fit on the power taps.

The factory used specifically shaped terminal body’s that would only fit into certain sockets.

The three types of fuse panel taps are BAT, IGN, and ACC.
The BAT circuit is hot at all times.
The IGN circuit is hot only with the key in the RUN position
The ACC circuit is hot with the key in both the RUN and ACCY positions. I suspect that the ACC tap will do what you want, unless you are trying to feed an aftermarket ignition system.

Your car should have had an IGN, ACC, and a Batt terminal in the fuse box from the factory.

^^^THIS. Your original fuse box should look just like this. The 68-72 cars use the same box.

My fuse panel is setup exactly like the one shown in my picture but I am missing the male slide terminal inside the LSP and the IGN slot. Thats how it has been since I got the car. I piggy back the ACCSYPWR with a splitter but I want to have a designated slot for ignition. Is there anyway to get one in there again?

I have a an old harness I am parting out with the connector on the IGN slot. It is connected to the fuse holder next to it with a green/white wire on the back side. I can remove the terminal and cut the wire at the factory solder point. You would have to remove the fuse holder on your fuse block and cut it off, then just solder this one to the wire. $10 plus shipping. Let me know if you want it I can pull it and get you pictures.

Yeah, send me some pictures. I would be interested in getting the LSP terminal back also. It explains why my old mechanic wedged in a flat terminal between the fuse to trigger the triple gauge lights I added. I didn't realize there was a dedicated terminal for it also.

Here is what I have. The IGN terminal/DIR SiG fuse holder with about 16 inches of green/white cut at the factory solder point. Also the LPS fuse holder with about 26 inches of the grey wire cut at the factory solder points. Send me a PM with your address and I will send you a total with shipping.
