86 Cutlass electrical problems (PLEASE HELP)
head lights tail light brake lights dash lights will not work.
although the blinkers work.
Okay so cant find a fuse in fuse box for head lights first off checked all others are good.
I pulled the head light switch out and tested for power to all terminals, NOTHING
but what is weird on that note is the dial for dimmness and to turn on the dome light works with doors closed turn dial all the way up and the floor board lights kick on. I keep asking myself if i checked for power at all terminals that plug into both of those switches and get nothing how in the heck is that part working? I did test the light on another power source just to be sure i had a good ground.
I ran a power wire from battery to the point where the headlight switch plugs into and my headlights turned on, never could get tails though.
as far as the brake lights I believe my button on the switch at pedal is jammed up in side the switch itself telling it the brakes are not being applied.
any and all help would be very much appreciated. thank you
