70 Oldsmobile engine harness connector ??

Hey guys I’ve got the harness out to retape it and remove the resistor wire since I’m adding a new distributor . My question is the one connector that has the resistor in the end I believe it’s for the idle solenoid ? My car doesn’t currently have it just making sure that is what it is

I believe that goes to the TCS solenoid vacuum switch at passenger front side of the intake. Possibly to A/C clutch; I've seen those with noise suppression diodes too.

thank you I was leaning towards the Idle up solenoid , I do have a AC car and the compressor is hooked up. That plug was taped up and down by the firewall , since it’s a switched 12 volt source was gonna use it for a power source for my electric Choke

The idle solenoid only uses a single wire, since it grounds through the bracket. That's the connector to the TCS solenoid, as shown in the wiring diagram in the Chassis Service Manual.
