'70 Olds 442 Power Trunk

Well, finally found the power trunk release assembly I needed. Now, does anyone know what side of the car (driver or passenger) does the wire from the solenoid run to the glove box? (To the jumper on the glove box light for power ). Also how is it routed.....under carpet...passenger door sill, main feed (under driver side) to rear of car etc.

Thanks in advance!

Hi. The wire runs along the passenger side of the car underneath the carpet. If someone else is unable to upload a pic of the Assembly Manual or their setup I'll try to get something out tomorrow.

'70 Olds 442 Power Trunk Release Wiring

Hi,

That makes sense. It also tell's me I have the correct (lock/solenoid) set-up as the wire that comes out of the solenoid is to the top right ( from rear view of car) of the solenoid.

Thanks Again!
