I have a 69 442 with rally gauges my dash harness is in good shape,but radio and courtesy light wire were cut,should I repair or replace?also where is a good source for either?

 

If you're concerned about originality but don't want to spend a lot of money, unravel the wrap back far enough to expose the original wire, splice a new wire with a good soldered connection, heat shrink it, and wrap it back up.


The plug and play harnesses are expensive and never as good or correct as the original. The factory harness used soldered connections to splice courtesy light grounds anyway

 

thanks for feedback,that's how I've been leaning,but wanted to hear other possible options.
