My windshield wipers only work in low speed. This is the second motor I’ve installed. Bought the motor new from Summit motors .
Wiring is all new also. American Autowire kit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Low speed only is either a short to ground in the wire that runs from the No 3 terminal on the motor to the switch, or a bad switch, or an internal short in the motor. If two different motors exhibited the same fault, that's unlikely to be the problem. Terminal No 3 is the one with the black wire in your photo. The easiest way to test this is to temporarily remove that terminal from the plastic connector body then plug the connector back in. If HIGH speed works (in both LO and HI positions) then that wire or the switch is the problem. The terminal can be removed with a straightened paper clip. See figure 4 below. Insert the paper clip from the end opposite the wires to depress that tab, allowing the terminal to be pulled out of the harness. Oh, and once again, get a Chassis Service Manual. The wiper troubleshooting is explained in gory detail in section 12B.
