Hello, I have several missing dash light and/or warning light bulbs for my 67 442. Would you happen to know the brand /part number for this? The ones from Amazon (ACDelco #LS130) did not fit - it was a little small in diameter as was not snug. The socket that did not fit has like a little metal sphere at both edges of the connector whereas the original that fit is flat. I have several missing sockets and need these to illuminate both the dash and for my warning lights.

 

The twist in sockets that hold the bulbs behind the dash come in 2 different sizes I have found. Sorry don't know part numbers but I found what I needed on eBay.

 

Best match I can come up with from Nov 73 parts book is:

Grp 9.744 p/n 5655006, 57-67 all, large black socket

Grp 9.765 p/n 6456923, 1967 3400, 3600, 3800, blue-gray socket. Also used 66-72 all carlines. Interesting it only lists for 1967 V8 A-body.

Look around a parts store. Sometimes they'll have those dash sockets.

 

I happen to have some for sale, also LED bulbs if you care to go that route.......
