66-67 Circuit board pin repair (who has fixed these and how)

66-67 Dash main circuit board plug in pins are common to break. Who has come up with a suitable repair for these? Ideally a pin replacement procedure.

I will post a picture to make it clear what I am talking about.

Larry

Larry, Randy C. found a method that worked. Here's an old thread where he described it.

Thanks John that is great if you have the pins and will work well.

Now if I do not have the pins. I wonder if anyone else has come up with a place to get the pins?

I don't know of any resource for the pins, except maybe Ron Roth. That being said, I count 10 pins on that board. There are several brands of connectors, Molex being one of the primary ones, that make 10 circuit connectors. You could solder wires on to the circuit board where the pins mount, and to either the male or female Molex connector pins. (Connectors & Pins are purchased separately).
Cut the round plug off of the other end, and solder those wires to the mating Molex connector pins. Keeping the proper orientation of the wires will be the most difficult part of the job. The two halves (male & female) snap together and won't come apart unless you want them to. Just a thought.

Here is an example link from Mouser Electronics, they carry a full line of Molex as well as other brands of connectors.
