There is some stuff going on with that seat that is not factory, so the factory wiring diagram is not going to help. In addition to the green wire, there is also an added toggle switch (red circle below) and an added red wire attached to one of the seat motor mounting screws (blue circle below). Does the car still run with the seat out? This looks like a hidden kill switch added by a previous owner to disable the ignition.

I have not even looked into that.. but thank you for pointing that out... Would you by any chance have the schematic for the power seat wiring?
I know There are more kill switches beside this one to get rid of...
I don't have the schematic, but I have restored many of these seat tracks. If you have questions once you get it off let me know. The green wire hanging out the bottom is most likely not part of the power seat harness. There is a light green wire that powers one of the transmission solenoids, but that is still connected in your photo. Also, the loose green wire in your photo looks like a smaller gauge than what was used in the seat harness. The only wires that should connect to the car from the seat track are the orange power wire running to the circuit breaker on the firewall and a black ground wire that attches under one of the rear mounting nuts. The photo below shows two complete harnesses un-loomed. The long orange wire at the bottom of the photo is the wire in the car that attaches to the firewall mounted circuit breaker.
So I ended up eliminating the kill switch and everything is as you explained...🤝🙌
I am only left with that black wire... first off, wondering if its in the right spot now (screwed in) and where does the ring connector bolt to
... Anyone have an actual picture?
The large end of the black wire bolts under the outer rear seat mounting nut on the floor.
I have seen the other end of the wire screwed to the seat like yours or screwed to the power seat track frame, so in my opinion either is correct.
Since the seat hardware is missing... I see 4 posts on the floor.
Does the seat mount over those 4 posts and is bolted down by a nut on each corner? Or is there more to it?
I see a 6 nut plus 2 bolt set on ebay for front bucket mounting.
Any insight on this appreciated!
