1969 Clutch Start Switch

Converting a 1969 auto car into a 4 speed car. Purchased a kit that has a clutch start switch for a Pontiac. It doesnt seem to work with the Olds pedal assembly. Looking for information on weather a Chevy or Buick switch would work or does anyone have an original Oldsmobile switch i can purchase. I can not find a reproduction Olds switch. My manual shows it as PN 1993493.

Back before computerized cars, when changing one thing didn't screw up the whole system, I always used to just disconnect these anyway.

If I can't remember to press the clutch pedal down when I start the car, I probably shouldn't be driving.

Pontiac and Olds use the same pedals, so what doesn't fit?

Agreed. I disconnected the one on my Jeep.
