i was wondering if these two years have the same wiring or are there changes in it? I know the Dash is the same so I'm hoping the wiring is the same as well. If someone could give me some info on the wiring if they're the same or not or what is different that would be greatly thankful.

Well, for starters the ignition switch is on the dash in 1968 and at the base of the steering column in 1969. Taillights and headlights were relocated between the two years so wire lengths will be slightly different. Beyond that, it takes a detailed examination of the two wiring diagrams. I know from firsthand experience that the 1969 and 1970 dash and front lamp harnesses are different, specifically at the firewall connector. The two harnesses have the same circuits, the same wire color code, but the locations of the various circuits in the firewall connector are different. I had to relocate a number of them to use a 70 front harness on my 69.
