1965 cutlass power window relay

hey everyone.. i just bought my car about a week ago and the guy i bought it from said it needed a new relay to work. i was wondering if someone could point me towards where this would be located. also i read that i can run a 12v wire to the master switch and that will allow me to test my motors and everything, but im not sure exactly which wire i run it to. thanks in advance.

Not sure where the relay is located at but you could try tracing the wires back from the door harnesses. Another option if just looking to see if the motors work at all is run a jumper wire from the fuse box to the master switch on the door panel or if the door panel is already off directly to the motor. May or may not work...if there is a relay in the system it could be providing a ground path... BUT before I did any of that, I would check the fuse first.

the fuse looks good, it's definitely not blown. but there does look to be a little bit of corrosion. which wire do i run the jumper cable to? here is a picture of the wires running to the master switch.

back to the fuse, I would swap it out regarless and/or take a volt meter and make sure you have power on both sides. What color wires are going in and out of the fuse? That would be the wire I would run a jumper from/to on the switch
