You picked a tough car to adapt a different engine and transmission( I assume you know that you will need a different transmission also).Others have done this but it is not with out major fabrication, Cross member, narrow transmission tunnel and custom motor mounts come to mind and there are many others . If you post this in the non Old's power forum you will probably get some detailed info http://ls1tech.com/forums/conversion...on-here.htmlor try this link .....Tedd

Ya planned on doing all that stuff custom, really just curious if the dynamic 88 shares any suspension stuff with other A body cars. Also wondering about wiring harnesses for the interior and lights

Each GM division had it's own suspension design on the "B" bodies in the early 60's. Dynamic 88 is a "B" body , not "A".
Most parts from other divisions will not interchange.

What are you doing with the original engine? I'm in need of a 63 or 64 394 Olds engine in rebuildable condition. What part of the country are you located?

Welcome to the site, start a build thread in the non-oldsmobile engine section. It'll be an interesting project.
