Car is riding low and has considerable bounce.

Was considering time for a mechanic to install new springs and shocks. ACDelco has them for the convertible. Do you also need to buy 4 coil insulators and 4 coil adjusters?

Is anyone partial to any brand and is there anything else that I need to know so I buy all parts and take it to the mechanic?

 

I put all new Moog springs (constant rate front, variable rate rear) on my 68 Coupe along with KYB shocks. Made a nice ride difference. Raised the car exactly 1", which is where the ride height should have been. I also bought 4 insulators for the rear, only to discover, there were only 2 on the car (top only). The front doesn't have any insulators.

Not sure if the springs for the convert are different. I know they list the same springs for 2 or 4 door.
