1965 -67 '88's Interior ???
1965-66 Starfires and '65 Jetstar Is (I've attached a pic of mine) could be had with buckets and a console. I have seen a '66 Delta 88 that was so equipped, would swear it was stock but have been told by some that it couldn't have been. Definitely have seen '67 Delta Customs with buckets and a console from the factory...those look very sharp equipped that way.
Copper, those buckets are awesome - same color as my interior too. Looks like a 442 a little inside now. About how much did that run you and did you install yourself? Are those vinyl? Power? I would assume a pretty penny.
They started life in a '68 Rivera. I bought them on eBay as "cores" and had my neighbor repair, re-pad and recover them using Legendary '67 Cutlass Supreme upholstery. I fabricated the inner floor mounts since they aren't reproduced for B/C-bodies. All told, I probably have about $900 in them after replacing all the hardware, trim, etc. Don't tell my wife OK?
Not to hijack the thread, but since the topic title is along the same lines...does anybody know anyone near oregon that could repair or re-make a rear door panel for my 65 88 coupe? they have a unique hump on them that is not shared by other gm 65 big cars. I ruined mine like an idiot when I first got the car trying to inspect things that I should have just left alone, and now the top of the panel (the edge that goes under the chrome felt trim ) is duck taped over the inside of the window channel....other than that the panel is fine, but i would basically need new window felt trim and to lengthen the top of the panel by about an inch or two.
