303 to Saginaw 3speed conversion

Hi!
Is it possible to mount a Saginaw 3speed on a 1952 303?
Are the adapters available?
Has anybody here done this?

I have here a nice Saginaw with Hurst Mastershift on it and
I think it would be nice on my Olds....

Thank you and Greats from Germany

If anybody has an adapter it would be Ross Racing.

What model Saginaw and what did it come out of., If it was once a first generation Oldsmobile transmission it should bolt up. You can tell by the unique bell housing on all the Oldsmobile's of that era. If out of a Chevy or something like it it will need a adapter and as mentioned above Ross Racing is your best bet. Tony can help you out there. I suspect it would be a expensive adaption and not worth it for what you would eventually get. Now a 4 speed Muncie that is another story....Tedd

Assuming that the Saginaw has the modern GM manual transmission pattern, you would be able to use both the Saginaw and a Muncie with the same adapter kit. So it could always be changed out to the Muncie down the road.

Bendtsen also sells the kit, you can see on their website what all is involved with the conversion:
