1985 Delta 88

On my old one I had 235/60/14's in the rear (yeah I know, 14 inch wheels, guy I bought it off of did what I like to call "ghetto lowering") and the section width on those tires was 9.5 inches.

I'm looking at 255/60/15 for the rear. Nice meaty tire, still only 27 inches tall but a section width of 10.24 inches

 

i've ran 255/60's on my 77 for years! no probs at all! a 275/60 would fit - width wise, but is too tall for my likes

 

Thanks man. That is the size I want to run. Meaty and still the same height as 205/75/15

 

no prob man. BTW, I've never measured, but BFG TA's seems to "look" a little wider than the other brands I've had
