Heater core for 63 Starfire/88

Quick question. Does anyone know if the heater core in 1963 F-85 is interchangeable with one in a 1963 Starfire? Thanks!

Sorry, just realized you're specifically asking about the heater core, not the radiator. Unfortunately my 1966 Hollander exchange manual doesn't specify heater core specs, so I have no help there. I can tell you, though, that if you go to a radiator repair shop that knows what they're doing (I know they're hard to find these days), they will have replacement core specs on new heater cores that they can cross to yours if you take it out of the car. Hope that helps.

I can also steer you towards a repair shop that I used a few years ago in Asheville, NC that did the exact repair for my 1957 Olds. The owner found a new core that was very close to what I needed and altered it to fit. Let me know if you want the info.

Send your unit for a rebuild. As an example, try here:
