Window track

When I roll the pass side window down, it pulls the track out of the top of the door.

I already replaced the window guide as the old one was cracked and the wrong one was use as per the previous owner

Tried a self tapping screw to hold the track in place, worked until the window gets to the screw and will not go past the screw head

Any ideas?

What year and make of car are you working on? Maybe good used internal door parts would be the answer?

Oh sorry,

It's a 1985 Delta 88 2 door. The window goes down about 3 inches, then the back part of the window pops out and goes up while the front part goes down
