Wheel diameter

This thread is probably up in past history but I need some help!

I recently took the steel wheel off the deflated original bias ply Firestone that was in the trunk of my '64, had it powder coated to match the body (Cashmere Beige) and now wish to remount with some chrome spyder caps (Hubcap Mike.com) in lieu of the traditional full discs. I plan to do the remaining four as the weather warms.

The renewed powder coated rim:

Is it correct to measure center of the bolt opening to center of the corresponding bolt opening? I read here once that bolt patterns were 5 x 5 on all B&C bodies except the J88s which were 5 x 4.75?

Any help is appreciated and I'm opening the floor to comments on the wheel color and cap choice. Thanks

On 5 lugs wheels you measure from the center of one lug to the back side of the opposing two holes.
