What Size Rims and Tires

Good morning,

The time has come to decide on rims for my '67 Delta 88. I would like to have the stagger fit. i on the fence though do i go 18" front and 20" rear or 20" all around or 20" front and 22" rear. Thoughts. i guess it really depends on what i can tuck underneath the wheel well.

What are the rest of the plans with the car? The 20 / 22 is hard to pull off and look right on a car. 20 / 20 will look better in most cases IMO. I rarly like the look of 18 / 20 combo. 19 /20 is just about perfect but the wheels and tires in 19 jump up in price by a lot.

My other plans are new interior, a decent stereo nothing drastic and new paint. Not going to modify the engine much. new carb, radiator and intake.

I was more looking suspension. You planning on slamming the car or run and air ride set up? Don't even think about a staggered set up if the car is not sitting on the ground.

Pretty sure Ridetech has a bolt on air suspension for that chassis.

I would get on the phone and call Air Ride Technologies (Ridetech) They will know exacty what would fit. You could build your own system for a lot less money but thats not a project for a novice.

I like the way it looks now. IMO, if you don't like a car riding like a log wagon, I would spend money on other things.

I have 22's and the stock 15's. the 22's give the same ride height as the 15's.
