Folks,

I'm working on a 1954 Rocket 88 and am looking for a missing heater part. For some reason, a previous owner has removed and discarded the heater outlet to which the defroster hoses attach. The GM part number is 3131446 and looks to be the same from '54-'56. I'd be willing to purchase an entire heater box if necessary to get the part. Does anyone have one they could part with or possible leads?

Joe, are you still looking for this item. I might have what you need since I took the entire heat box, core and valve out of my 56 Olds, along with the blower motor and fan cage. It is now in a pile under the rear deck, although the motor and fan has been inside. I'm not going out and go thru the stuff for a day or more since we are getting a severe snow storm over the next few days here in Northern ILL. Can you send me pic or a drawing of exactly what you need? Chuck
