Just changed spark plugs wires and distributor still ain't getting no fire.

 

You need to start a new thread with more details, make,model, when the trouble started etc. The more information you give us the better we can help.

Welcome to the site, I moved your post to your very own thread. Why was the distributor changed? Points or electronic? Did you put the distributor in with the rotor pointing to number 1 with the engine on #1 tdc?

 

Try a match.

 

Is it turning at all?

 

More info. Year, make, model, engine, transmission. Exactly what distributor? What was wrong with the old one? How did you hook up the new one? How did you install it? etc... etc... We need much more info to even attempt to help you sight unseen. You could have a Yugo or a Chevette for all we know. In which case Id go with what Jaunty said!

 

Did you remember to replace the coil wire?

Yes, it was. The OP hasn't been back since his first and only post, now 8 days ago.

Maybe he was able to get some fire after all.

 

I bet he just forgot to replace the coil wire.

 

Maybe he changed some computer wires and it don't fire now neither. :-D
