Lowering a 55 88

Who has done this and how did you accomplish it?

Looking to get the rear part of the frame to be about 6-6 1/2" off the ground.

Don't want to hack frame at this time.

Thanks!

You can use lowering blocks on the back. I think you can up to 3" ones. I think you will have to cut the springs on the front which is not ideal.

Blocks it is then.

I'm good up front, I installed a Fatman stub with QA1 coil-overs.

Thanks!

You should be able to get the lowering blocks from Summit, Speedway Motors and most any of the other aftermarket suppliers. Glad I could help.

Thinking I'll need different shocks with 3" blocks? What's the best way to figure out what I need?
