is so nice from the standpoint of no fluids leaking at all. BONE dry under it, no leaks on the motor at all, trans, oil pan, power steering, leaves nothing on the ground or any parts of the car/motor.
I have never owned old cars that don't seap, sweat, leak just a tiny bit. I drive the car now 4 times a week.

Not saying at all that I don't believe you but that seems extremely rare, I think all these Oldsmobiles, or other old cars leaked something if not many things after a short while on the road, got any nice under car pix?
I've finally got all leaks fixed except one on my convertible (power steering pump pulley shaft) and it's real small. It seems the transmission was the toughest to completely seal up. I still have a few leaks on the Vista but slowly getting those fixed.
I got my car last summer, oil change just done, maybe 500 miles on it. Now I am about 600 miles from the 3k mark to change it. Car is driven many times a week now, has lost no oil. My newer cars are not that good.
I am going to replace the rad hoses this weekend maybe (others not leaking but OLD, prev maint job). The ones on it now have good year hoses with the old time looking good year logo with the flying shoe or something like that. Is that orig for this car?
On another note, did this car in 74 have a Cat, Converter on it new? It has a charcoal canister on it, all with hoses and the like all hooked up and a EGR it appears. I wonder if all that is working.

The 74 did not have a cat . As noted they started in 75. The engine had been rebuilt in the first 72 Cutlass I had he ago and it did not leak a drop. I wish I could say that about the two I have now.
