How to hook up Holiday 88 gauges
Hey all, I have a question
With the Holiday 88 (talking late 70's early 80's B Bodies here) how do you hook up the oil gauge? Can you spilce it into the wiring for the oil sending unit or do I need something else?
I understand I need a probe thingy for the water temp gauge, that's not a problem, I just don't know about the oil gauge sending unit

I have the pigtails, they came with the gauges.
Upon looking in my Haynes repair manual, the power wire, ground and sending wires, which are all on the pigtails, are the corret colors and the sending unit for the oil gauge is the same wire that lights up the "low oil pressure" light![Big Grin](https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I didn't like having an "A" pillar gauge pod in the Delta, now I don't need one

I disconected the original and rewired mine with new wires.
But that is on a 1969 delta 88, using a oilpressure indicator valve and aftermarked gauge, and not the original oilpressure sending unit that works only when the pressure is to low.

Yeah I figuered that out with the oil pressure gauge. I guess I'll have to "T" it.
It also seems that all the water jackets are full with factory stuff and I want to keep as much factroy lights *** possible. I can "T" the rear driver's side of the mani for the water temp so it's hidden, but the oil, ugh, going to be ugly unless anybody else can thing of another spot
