Smile Good evening Olds lovers

Just wanted to thank everyone in advanced for the information I may receive because it will be greatly appreciated. I have owned the Delta 88 Royale for almost 7 years. Bought the car for $500 at a towing yard. It has just a little over 83K original miles but has a great amount of work needed. After buying the car I installed a battery and did a tune up and drove it too Florida with no problems. As far as interior it needs a new dash, carpet and headliner. Original seats are great with no rips or tears. Body work that it needs is rear bumper fillers, front hood and some paint. I live in 7 cityies Virginia and have a hard time finding the parts needed for my baby. She might not look pristine but i'm spankin these Chevy's and Fords at the moment.

Welcome.
J-Chicago might be able to help you out. He likes the big bodies of that era, I think. You could also try the search function and see if you come up with anything.

Year ands Plans

My Olds is a 1978. It has a Oldsmobile 350 in it and not sure how to tell if it is a rocket or not but she runs real strong. For the most part everything is original. I plan on getting the bumper fillers at the end of this month. Hopefully can find the Hood I need so I can have the body work done in August. I'm redoing the peanut butter tan interior but will put a little Emarld green piping, carpet and headliner to match the exterior paint. I love flowmasters just not sure which series to go with because I don't want it too loud because I have a young son. I love my car because in my area no one is driving this model/year Oldsmobile.

Every Oldsmobile V8 is a rocket in my book......well maybe not the little 260, mmmmft why not. Sure. The moniker rocket was originally a marketing gimmick that stuck and is now kind of synonymous with any Olds V8. Like calling a Pontiac a Poncho.

Yes just the rear corner pieces. So far the lowest I found were for $107 + shipping.

Updates

Here is a couple updates of my car since my last post. I finally got the car painted to purple because someone painted theirs green before I did. I haven't found me a rear bumper yet or got the interior done. Since finding parts is so hard to find I'm going to get the front dash wrapped. Now I also need a rear passenge window regulator, which I cannot find on the internet.
