A few questions about converting 2bll to 4bll

A few questions about converting 2bll to 4bll

Hello again,

and yes i have a lot of questions

I have to make the car run before it goes to the paintshop.

And yes i did ask this question almost before. ( a litle has change)

I had to remove my 2bll ( cracked ad feul line) and changed id into a 4bll
I swaped the intakes 2bll 398583 D1 into a 4bll 390327 D1 , Found it here in the netherlands

I tried a rochester and it did'nt worked right with me (maybe i repair it in the futere) and put a edelbrock performer 650cid on.

But if it's cold it backfire's ( tries to ref up blocks after puting entire padel down and than backfires) does it with and without choke.

But after it geting on temp it works much beter ? choke full open.

I checked timing and vacuum leaks and even set the acceleratorpump 1 click slower ( one hole higher)

I did not change the idle mixture it runs almost good stationairy and i set the carb on more or less 500rpm ( i think on sound)

i did not put the distributor on timed nore on manifold vacuum to test it.

So why does it backfire's when it's cold.

its a 350 olds 88 conf. of 69'


and my second question who knows what to do with the pink with black tracer wire?? can't vind it anywhere in the wireringdiagram of 68'
it hase 12volts on it.

And i almost rewired al the olds exept the horn, whipermoter and washerbuton.

And my thirt question ; is there a wirering diagram of electric controled chair's?? it does not exist on the wirediagram i have used ( of 68' )
